Want to hear the same people that cry "pull out now" scream when gas goes to 10 dollars a gallon because oil shipments stop. Most will turn into hypocrites when it hits their pockets. They don't mind if terrorists kill people, but they will get mad if their pocket book is hurt. The Saudis will back he Sunnis which is Al-Qaida, while the Iranians back the Shiite Militias. Basically what your going to have is a war with Saudi and Kuwait fighting Iran and Syria. Neither country is going to let the others ship oil to try to destroy their ability to fund a war. UNLESS the useless UN and the Democrats try to appease the Iranians on the Nuke issue, which will leave Israel no choice but to destroy Iran before they can finish their nukes. If Israel is convinced by Iran's president that he intends to "wipe them off the face of the earth", they will wipe Iran off the face of the earth first. It is going to get ugly. Appeasement allowed Hitler to grow strong, it will do the same again now. History repeats itself.

The sunies and the Shiites have been fighting each other for 100's of years. Bush and company although a noble idea trying to turn them on to democracy is like trying to teach a whale to do the limbo. It wasn't a bad idea to rid that county of Saddam. But what do we do now? That's the 64 dollar question my friend. The soldiers that I talk to say they are making progress and I am proud of their bravery but you can't help a country that doesn't want your help. the ones that have influence still live in the dark ages and they just don't think like us. And then you have the terrorist wacko's on top of the others. What a mess sorrry I can't answer your question to go or not to go.

People keep saying the Iraqis are killing themselves. So why should we be trying to help. I wonder what the world said about us during the American civil war when we were killing ourselves by the 100,000s.
Establishing peace requires an overwhelming force. If we are going to succeed in Iraq, we need to get serious about it.

It might be the best thing that could happen.A war between the Sunni and Shia would pretty much stop any attacks on outside targets.

We have to see this through to the end or we will forever lose our credibility with the rest of the world. The democrats have already done enough damage.
