Following on from my question about the red flag to a bull comment about asking questions with "serious answers only" written,
Why do so many people fail to have a sense of humour? and not see through silly posts as being for a laugh only? This attached thread is a case in point!

That was funny. I read some of the responses and I'm not sure why anyone would have taken you seriously. Even if they had, it was nothing to frown about. Hey, she's an adult. I think this forum is starting to get to people and they have forgotten how to laugh. One guy commented on your photo, which was irrelevant, but it was his way of striking back. I suppose if you had a pic like The Retard Guy, then it would be okay. When he posts the ridiculous things he does, everyone laughs in response - just a few think he's serious. So, I suppose in order to get a laugh, you have to wear a jester's costume for people to understand these days. Sad...but true...

Why is it so difficult to have a sense of humour on here? It seems there are only a handful of people that like to have some fun. Me? Whenever I'm bored at work (every day) I like to come on here and try to have a bit of a laugh, as well as answer some questions properly
But for some people humour is THE ENEMY!!! Sensible questions and answers ONLY are permitted!!! It does drive me mad sometimes..............nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggghhhhh....

Don't worry, you will always find the poor unfortunate who was born without a sense of humor.. Did you know that a well developed sense of humor indicates intelligence? Its true.
I was violated on a Julia question by one of those who has no sense of humor, in fact my whole answer (which was a short one) was removed and I received 3 emails about it)... That got me to thinking...... oh never mind. Wouldn't want to risk a red flag violation again! ;)
There really ARE some of us on here who do have a sense of humor, really.

i don't do threads so i don't know specifics, but most people are a bit P C these days. everyone is so afraid of offending that they have no sense of humor, as far as serious answers only, some people are in pain and seeking actual help, if you're not in a mood to be helpful, don't answer their questions, especially if you're going to be flip.

Political Correctness has doomed humor to obscurity. Soon, a sense of humor will be grounds for incarceration. Certain people in this country want you to feel self-loathing for being a citizen of the greatest,richest,most free country in the history of the world. That's my serious answer.....my silly answer is...just silly. it really is..just soooo silly..really! I mean it! God, no sense of humor!!

Peoples action these days have wiped that sense of humour thing from me & god has choosen me to torcher by fixing my feet, so you can't walk, he locked my jaw so I can't talk. he closed my eyes, so I can't see, Tell me where the fun is in that eh.
