To tell the truth, I'm not so sure there is a solid definition of so called European pride. I believe Europe is just too much of a mix regarding different "tribes" that inhabit it...So, there can be said, that we should rather talk of: German pride, British pride, Serbian pride, etc...I do not think there is such a thing as European identity; it is only achieved artificially through politicians that are in favor of united Europe...There's something else however; we the Europeans have had terrible historical experience, namely I. world war, II.world war, many civil wars and revolutions and I believe every sane European can see, the only permanent solution to our problems can only be unison of European states and nations in one stable community that can function as a whole...and that's what European Union is all about, I believe...
