You use Roman numerals. When eleven (XI) is cut in half horizontally, the top half is six (VI), so six is half of eleven.

Since the difference between 6 and 1 is 5, it equals the difference between 6 and 11, which proves that 6 is half of eleven. ü

You can't, because 6 is not half of 11. I can easily prove that by contradiction.
Assume 6 IS half of 11. Then, 6 should equal 1/2 times 11.
But
(1/2) x (11) = 11/2 = 5.5, which is NOT equal to 6.

This is true if you're expressing numbers in base 11. In base 11, 11 is the same as 12 in the decimal base.

its' simple assume the result to be integer and compute the result and u will get 5.5 which is not an integer and hence round it of and 5.5 gets rounded of to 6( technically).... Hence the proof....
