Can we expect America to invade Israel to alleviate the problem, much as they did in Iraq, and much as they would like to do in North Korea and Iran ?

Thanks. I am aware, as are all the world, that Israel have had nukes for years. Mordecai Vanunu was imprisoned for years for publishing details of Israel's nuclear capability. Surely UN sanctions will now have to be applied to Israel, being as it is only the 'uncertainty' (sic) about their WMDs that has kept UN action and sanctions at bay.

It is over 20 years since Mordechai Vanunu told the world that Israel had Nuclear weapons.. he spent 18 years in an israeli jail for warning the world about that........ 11 1/2 years in solitary confinment.
he was let out of jail in 2004, after serving his full term, but is still held in israel, and is subject to many, many restrictions on his freedom.
see: http://www.vanunu.freeserve.co.uk/
I am not anti-semitic in any way, shape or form....but Israel is an evil state.

But Israel have had WMDs for years - they are called nukes and no amounting of denying changes the open knowledge...unfortunatley look at the US voting record at the UN on all issues relating to Israel, none have ever been supported against Israel by the US and in many cases the US used their veto to ensure nothing happened to that cuddly little state

Israel is the size of Wales and is surrounded by jew hating arabs who wish to push them into the sea. They have had Nuclear Weapons for 20 years but are civilised enough not to use it (so far) I wonder if their rioting enemy would show such restraint.

We should see action from the UN concerning this revelation! US will not invade israel! But israel should be forced to sign the non proliferation treaty or be pressured by the US to dismantle all nuclear weapons!

The fact that Jesus was a Jew has nothing to do with the atrocities that Israel has gotten away with using US taxpayer dollars to do so. They are the biggest terrorists in the Middle East and the US is paying dearly for our "friendship" with Israel.

Of course not. Israel is a client state of the USA and as we all know can Do No Wrong, so they will not be molested by the USA for Olmert's little slip of the tongue.

Israel are on our side, and therefore don't pose a threat to us. Israel stand for democracy (and remember, Jesus was born there and he was Jewish), whereas North Korea stands for dictatorship, and Iran stands for the global imposition of islam against the will of the rest of the civilised world.

According to your logic, the U. S. A. should bomb Europe and herself too. The point in WMDs in Iraq (which were proved to be false, by the way) was not their existence but their use.
