Both channels are out of control but if i had to pick one I would pick CNN.Twenty four hour news channels have gotten very tedious.Unless there is a breaking news story they keep rehashing the same story over and over again ad naseum.Local stories have now become national stories to fill time.Commentaries by the talking heads has gotten carried away and most times very insulting.CNN once in awhile does news features but FOX has more of a tendency to be confrontational.I use to watch cable news a lot but I find myself watching it less and less.

CNN by far,but I have noticed that through the years,CNN has become more opinionated on issues than when they first started broadcasting.
They used to just "report" the news and have special segments here and there 'roundtable" issues, but nothing like it is now.
Anchors should not have opinions on issues I think,I think they need to get back to the basics of just reporting the news as best as they can and leave the opinions up to the listeners like it was years ago when I remember it when anchors such as Walter Cronkite when he just used to just report the news and no opinions at all.
It takes away from the actual events when anchors start interjecting their personal viewpoints on key issues . This is a dangerous trend ,especially with a Presidential election coming up next year.
I think the reporters and the anchors should just stick to the facts and let the news stories themselves tell the whole story ,not the anchors with their little snide comments.
Katie Curic is famous for that,I have watched her segments with her anchoring the news, and she never keeps her personal opinions to herself, she always has to add a comment that has nothing to do with the news story.
If she wasn't so popular and famous, she probably would be fired for doing a lousy job and not keeping her mouth shut on issues that she knows little or nothing about.

CNN,
Fox's news is B.S.
CNN is the only American News station with good ties to international channels, like Al Jezeera.(sp?)
ABC and CBS beat Fox as well.

Unless you like Cartoons, then Fox ranks third after Cartoon Network and Comedy Central.
