Confidence. You know what you have to offer,,just be yourself.Either they are going to like you or not.If not,,move on.The job that you want,,you want to be able to be yourself anyhow as to not have so much stress & worry.

I absolutely endorse what Tammy W said. Toastmasters is a GREAT organization to help you with speaking, be it formal or informal.

What I would also do is set up a few interviews for jobs you have absolutely no desire in having. Then practice. Pay attention to what makes your heart palpitate and prepare for that during your "real" interview by having responses ready. Sometimes it's just the fear of the unkown or being put on the spot. The more practice you have, the easier it becomes because you know what to expect.

The best remedy, it has worked for me, is to join an international group called Toastmaster's ( www.toastmasters.org). There you will find confidence to speak to one person or one thousand. You will find that you are NOT alone when it comes to sweating, stumbling over your words, or really getting out what you need to say in a manner that is understandable and direct. It's an organization that has beginners to advanced speakers to help you along the way. Find one in your area TODAY! Best of luck.
