My husband recently got a job working at a smoked salmon factory. Whenever I was his work clothes, which is usually 3 times back to back, the smell of the smokey fish remains in the fabric.

My question is what can I do to get rid of the salmon smell from his clothes?

I meant whenever I wash* his work clothes...

Try pre soaking the load in vinegar first, then spin cycle and wash as usual.... it can't hurt

Next time place 1 to 1 1/2 cup white vinegar in the load at the beginning of the wash cycle.

Soak them in a high content baking soda solution and water for thirty minutes before you wash them.

my mom used to put a can of coke in the wash when it was super stinky not sure why that worked but it did

let them in a water with leaves of Lawanda for an hour or two and then wash them regularly

Yep, I was going to reccomend the baking soada also..... maybe color safe bleach too.
