You need a standard 3.5 Stereo plug (just like the plug on your headfones) to 2 Phono Plug (2 larger plugs, usually coloured red & white or red & black) cable. This will connect from the headfone socket on your mp3 player to your hi-fi. Make sure that your stereo has "line in" or "aux" sockets at the back otherwise it wont work! You should be able to get one of these cables at any electronics store.

I am a bit confused about the USB, but if you take the head / earphones to Dixon's or Curry's or a similar type of shop look for a lead with the same size jack (plug) as your phones on one end and two RSA plugs on the other, have a quick look at the back of your stereo.

It has a forum devoted to Sony music players including the NW range. You'll find a post there from somebody who provided continuous music at a party via Sony HDD walkman by creating a playlist and then pressing 'start'!

probably a stereo jack to RCA. local hardware shops often sell these. you would only be able to use the MP3's controls.
