The problem of good leadership is not only in Nigeria, but in all African and developing poor countries. That of NIgeria appears much more serious perhaps because of their national psyche and temperament. It is a difficult problem, with no easy solution in sight. Generally, it is those who can plunder the state who also have the ability to get elected to high and responsible office. You and me who are prepared to sacrifice everything to see to the progress and welfare of our nations will never get anywhere if we ever try to get into office. It is indeed a very cruel fate, from which perhaps only divine intervention can save us.
