I hear a voice calling out my boyfriends name sometimes but no one is there and I can hear him talking with it but he says he not doing so . I don't understand how I am able to hear this I even tape it before but he said he hears nothing.

Either your boyfriend is messing with you (very likely) or you should contact a doctor as auditory hallucinations can be caused by several medical conditions, and some of them if not caught early can be life threatening.

But you can have an acouphene. You here a noise that does not exist.
