Of course it's not possible to do such comparison. Why? Because an arranged means having to marry a person of whom you've yet to develop feelings for unless it so happen that you both have met and are deeply in love even before the arranged marriage. However, an arranged marriage can turn into love.

Well its an age old question whether one should prefer love marriage or an arranged marriage and i would say that the comparisons are useless......what matters in a marriage is that both partners should love and respect each other and trust each other. They should be able to understand each other and think for the best of their partners. All this takes a lot of time, so whether its love or arranged, just give it a little time and make it work. Marriages are made in heaven but there's no authorised service station, u gotta maintain and fix ur marriage on ur own.

I m lucky enough to answer this question, as i m the first one to answer this... This is really a valid question b'coz even i m searching for the same... my mom always tells me that arranged marriages are made in heaven and what i think is - Love marriages are partially successful... I can never compare arranged marriage with a love marriage because in love marriage the first a girl is much closer to her boyfriend and as the time passes that love will soon have an end...

No there is no comparison. A love marriage is based on the fact that you have met and falln in love with each other, first finding out all you can about each other. An arranged marriage is based on suitability, whether they are well studied, have money etc. Then the couple are supposed to marry and let friendship and love grow after, even though they do not know much about each other and have never been allowed to be alone in each other's company

Comparison of arranged marriage with love marriage is possible. It is justified to know as to who many arranged marrages resulted in breakage and how many of love marriages boke down early. I know that in USA divorce as a result of love marrige is very common as compared with arranged marriages. You may see that in western counries keeping b/f in houses as very common. These boy friends are not sincere and they go for breakage of relations after doing sexual intercouse with the girl and try to hide themselves. I am of the opinion that arranged marriages are more successful than love marriages. It is due to love and sex but no thoughtfullness on the part of both boys and girls.

My dear friend a marriage is a marriage its doesnt matter if its a love marriage or an arranged one. You have to work consantly towards a relationship to make it work and marriage is no exception.

no it si not possible because if you do a love marriage that means you have choosen the step not your family , in some way or other your family members dont agree on that but the arranged marriage is arrainged by the family members . so who can they be compaired at one hand there are two people taking a desision and on the other hand whole of the two families take a same desision
