Same thing happened to me this year - I know it's hard. When I feel sad, I make a list of things to be thankful for and then I go out and help someone (Volunteer, donate something, feed homeless, mail a card to someone who's hurting)

God Bless and Merry Christmas from someone who cares:)

you are lucky to have a large family, my family is spread out all over the country and we don't see each other much. no one should spend Christmas alone. ask your friends what they will be doing for Christmas, and when they ask you what you will be doing tell them your story and hopefully one of your friends will ask you over to their house. go to a local church for a service, it doesn't matter what your faith is, go and listen to the choir and light a candle, and watch the kids in a Christmas play, that is what Christmas is about. This year on Christmas Eve I'm going to go to our local grocery store and ask the manager if I can help older people get their groceries out to their car, for free of course, at least I can help them a little. Have a great holiday

You could ask your local church if you could join in its yearly Christmas celebration with a charity organisation (old folks home or children's home).
