my mother's birthday will be on the 14th.. I have a gift for her already and i am thinking i wanna add some.. to make it extra special. She likes to hear ballroom music like cha-cha, boogie and swing (but in modern upbeat) so I was thinking of downloading some music and burn it in one CD. I know she will like it. I will just use LIMEWIRE to do it since i dont have more money to buy CD's for her. Can u guys help me out... give me song titles with artist! the more u give the better.. I am actually in a hurry since its one more day left.. I will give 10 points to the person who will give me more upbeat songs! thanks a lot fo rthe help in advance!

Chahca, Boogie, and Swing are not ballroom music! Saying that is much like saying HipHop is ballroom music. It is a horse or another color kiddo.
That said:
Benny Goodman - Swing
Dizzy Gillespie - New Orleans type Jazz
Stan Kenton - Jazzy Jazz
Chicago Symphony Orchestra Jazz Ensemble
Forester Sisters - Boogie
If you want more moderm Brian Setzer, Cherry Poppin Daddy's, Candye Kane for swing.
All of the above is pretty much dance music, you can go further back than the 40's - 50's for it, but I much prefer recordings from that era.
Great question, great motivation you have a lucky mom, but sit down and listen to this stuff with her, then listen to some orchestral music, some waltzes and you will see the diff and have a great musical education too!

If she likes boogie and swing, you could choose anything by Louis Jordan (Caldonia, Saturday Night Fish Fry, There's Nobody Here But Us Chickens, Is You Is, Or Is You Ain't My Baby?), Roy Brown (Rockin' At Midnight, Good Rockin' Tonight, Boogie At Midnight, Butcher Pete), or T-Bone Walker (Strollin' With Bones, Two Bones And A Pick, High Society, Glamour Girl). Even some early B B King rocks like crazy. They're almost like early Rock & Roll, but swing a little more. Great stuff, nonetheless. Have fun with it....

hmm.. i'd say search torrent sites like "mininova.org" or "torrentspy.com" to search for an appropriate album.

alternatively http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com...and you can find a mixed album for sale, buy it or download the tracks individually on limewire...

"TANGO, SWING, FOX, TROT, LINDY, WALTZ, BOSSA, NOVA, VIENNESE, WALTZ, RHUMBA, CHA CHA, PEABODY, MERENGUE"

you're welcome:P
