Why do England play in blue?

Question

I posted this before but got no answer so I thought I'd try again! They play in white and blue at football and predominantly blue at cricket (one day) or with blue helmets (test) but I don't know why!! England's colours are surely red and white - do they take the blue from the Union Jack, the flag of the UK, to which Scotland contributes the blue?? Surely they're not so egotistical or indeed stupid and ill-informed?

Does ANYONE have the answer?

Its because the England Cricket teams colours have noting to do with the English Flag. England play in the Royal blue colour taken from the recently modified English Coat of Arms 'The Three Lions' used by both the ECB, and the FA. Both the cricket team, and Football team play with this logo on their chest rather than the 'Cross of St George',

PS3 games of other regions will work. However Blue Ray movies and DVDs are region coded and will not play on PS3s from different countries. Also older PS2 and PS1 games will only work with the correct region. Basically only PS3 games will work worldwide. All other discs are region locked.

I think, most probably, the blue come from the Union Jack. Being red, white, and blue, this explains why red, white and blue are their national colours.

There is also a white ensign, red ensign, and blue ensign.

because they won't play in white because white is used in test series...
