I've never heard of Moidem. I don't think it is something I'd pick for my boy. I have 2 female cousins named Mackenzie. One is spelled Makenze. Mackenzie Dawn and Makenze Quinn. They both go by the nickname Kenzie. I didn't like the name when they were born, but I have gotten used to it, and it is not such a bad name for a little girl.

I like Mackenzie, in fact, if I had my way that would be our little girl's middle name. Moidem, though, will always be hard to pronounce and spell. He would forever be correcting people (like when teachers call roll), and he'd probably end up with a not-so-cute nickname derived from someone's mispronunciation of his name. It does sound Celtic or Scottish, like Mackenzie, so maybe try to find another boy's name of the same origin. Something a little more mainstream though, so he's less likely to be made fun of.

Mackenzie is a great name but in my sons school theres at least 100 of them 3 are in his class and he only has 16 kids in his class so if your looking for something original I'd go back to the book ,i think the moidem is horrible sounds like a facial cream or medicine or something like that plus people will never pronounce like you want them too trust me my mom made up my daughters name and i love it its original and beautiful easy to pronounce but no one ever gets it right on the first try if you want to know her name e mail me I'll tell you but i won't post it because then there's be tons of little girls with her name ,if you don't mind your baby having the same names as lots or others I'd stick with Mackenzie i love that name. good luck and have fun its a blast coming up with names.

Ok Mackenzie used to be a really orignal name
then everyone said hey what an original name
Now its not an original name
If you ever loose Mackenzie at the gap, you are screwed.
So no, in my oppinion, it is not a good name
Moidern.
It took me a good half minute to figure out you pronounced it Modern.
Which if you say it Modern spell it modern
thats kinda like saying my name is gertrude but we pronounce it gertuisaa what the????? if it is modern spell it modern other wise her name is not modern. He will have to deal with the name Modern all her life, at least spell it right. I dont like it. Why not name the child keyboard or Neo or mouse. it is heyy look at me Im all techno and stuff. no, that is pretenciousl
sorry :(
