if you look ing your eye in the corner clossest to your nose there is a pink sort of bit,right in the very corner of your eye.does any one know what this bit is called??its just my part has got a white klind of lump on it fior the last cpouple of days it dont hurt or itch or anythink,thanks in advance

its not pink eye!! if you take a look in the mirror there you will see EVEYONE has a pink sort of tissuey skin sort of thing!its normal but my question is whats it called,and also why its got a white patch on it!!

That's called the conjunctiva of the eye. A lump could be an infection or a tiny ulceration. Needs to be looked at by a nurse or doc. Keep your hands out of your face and wash them often.

it's correct medical term is the canal of Schlemm. it's primary function is to help water flow out of the eye.

not sure what the white lump on it is w/out looking at it. could be that it just became irritated.

although it's not bothering you-i would make an appt to see your dr within the next couple of days to have it checked-sooner if it starts to irritate you or obstruct your vision
