He is one of my favorite player, the "why" has to be because of his missed penalty at the WC in 1994 against Brazil.

I think he was under rated then and he is under rated still . He is a player like Pele and Maradona but als , he is never put into that category .
Roberto baggio was a great player ,as fast as wind , he knew everything but he don't have many awards in his account . He has wone many awards but not as many as Pele or Maradona did . On the other hand he also had a streak of bad matches in an year. There are many more reasons and i hope the rest will provide you that.

Roberto Baggio is one of the best Italian and world players to ever play the game! No he wasnt underrated, we all know what he was capable of when he was at his peak, and he lies up there with the great footballers, the likes of Zidane, Figo, Maradona and so on......

he was, but deservedly as he never won anything with any side, club or country....brilliant individual, but was he good for the team?????
