First Day:
BREAKFAST: Black coffee or tea, half a grapefruit, 1 slice toast, 2 tablespoons peanut butter.
LUNCH: 1/2 cup tuna, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea.
DINNER: 2 slices any type of meat (about 3 ounces), 1 cup string beans, 1 cup beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup vanilla ice cream.
Second Day:
BREAKFAST: 1 egg, 1/2 banana, 1 slice toast, black coffee or tea.
LUNCH: 1 cup cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers.
DINNER: 2 hot dogs, 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream.
Third Day:
BREAKFAST: 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple, black coffee or tea.
LUNCH: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice toast.
DINNER: 1 cup tuna, 1 cup beets, 1 cup cauliflower, 1/2 cantaloupe, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream.

Diet works on chemical breakdown and it is proven. Do NOT vary or substitute any of the above food. Salt & pepper may be used; no other seasonings. Where no quantity is give, there are no restrictions (i.e: tea, black coffee) other than common sense. This diet is to be used 3 days at a time.
In 3 days, you will lose 10 pounds. After three days of dieting, you can eat normal food, but do not overdo it. After your 4 days of normal eating, start back on your 3-day-diet. You can lose up to 40 pounds in a month, if you stick to it.
This is a safe diet. REMEMBER - DO NOT SNACK BETWEEN MEALS!

This is a diet my mother (who is a nurse's assistant) got from work. They usually give this diet to people with a heart problem. My mother tried it and said she lost 5 pounds. While on the diet, she walked about 2 miles every morning.
The only thing I'd recommend, would be to eat organic foods because the crap they put in ice cream & cheese for example, wouldn't be good. And also, when you're not using the diet, eat smart, don't go get a pizza just because you can. And of course, the more you exercise, the faster you'll lose weight.
Follow the diet exactly! NO snacking, not even 1/2 a twinkie!

I've been trying the Gillian McKeith "You are what you eat" diet books available in local libraries and good book stores, I have practically cut out meat and eat more fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds, feel full of energy and so far have lost just over a stone in 4 weeks. Go to the YMCA and just work out your abs.Working out your abs is the best thing you can do. And eat a lot of salads with low fat dressing. No fast food.
