regardless of what he made his assets look like, the sherif should have seized ALL of them for public sale to satisfy the debt. The lawyers just want to be paid and since they are your lawyers, you will probably find that you signed something that said you would pay the balance beyond whatever assets your husband surrendered expecting that his assets would cover the whole amount. Insist that the sheriff seize all salable assets of your husband and sell them to cover the debt, he cant bargain for a monthly payment schedule. the judges ruling is enforcible and for your husband to not comply is contempt of court ... he has to reliquish the full R8300 worth of assets before he can try to come up with some payment schedule. he will have to take out a loan to cover the rest. Contact the judge and ask him to enforce the divorce agreement.

Tell your lawyers that they have a copy of the divorce decree so if they want their money go after him. After all hes the one who is breaching the divorce decree not you. They just want their money, which is understandable, and are just trying to get it from anyone they can. Your divorce decree protects you and if they keep going, sue them for harassment or contact the courts and inform them of whats happening. Hopefully your decree states in writing that he is responsible for paying any and all costs, otherwise you could be held liable too.
