David Boreanaz, hands down. Here's my favorite Buff dialogue with Spike:
Buffy: Spike, what are you doing here... in five words or less.
Spike (Counting): Out For A Walk... Bit.ch

Between Spike or Angel? Spike, absolutely! He's always felt like a more complex and complete character to me, maybe because he was allowed to develop as an individual, whereas Angel began as 'Buffy's boyfriend' and only later really unfolded into a three-dimensional character. I also like Spike's outlook on being a vampire a lot better-rather than try to deny what he is, he accepts and glories in it (even with the soul), which makes him the more interesting of the two
Between Boreanaz and Marsters? Boreanaz. While they're both wickedly talented, Boreanaz can do petty and goofy in a way that is sweet and funny all at once. He's showing a little bit wider range than Marsters, whose recent work hasn't quite lived up to his earlier promise.
Of course, all of the above is my just my own personal opinion... *runs to hide from the screaming Spike fans who will surely tear me apart for that last bit*
