My boss at my previous gave me wonderful reference but, the woman interviewing me had a family member working in payroll and has found out that I've lied about the length of employment there. From what I was told that she had bad mouthed me and said all these negative things about me. Funny thing is they've called me back for 4th interview! Now with their Regional VP... What should I do?

Length of tenure inaccuracies can always be attributed to typos. Stay calm, and if approached, admit you made a mistake but be composed. Apologize for the confusion but don't linger with extensive or effusive explanations. If you don't make a big deal of it, more than likely they won't either.
