Fruit Dip
Caution, this can get a little messy! Cut up some fruit in bite size chunks and serve with a small bowl of yogurt. Encourage your toddler to dip the fruit in the yogurt. This is an easy way to get your toddler to eat a serving of fruit, while also getting some extra calcium and protein in his/her diet from the yogurt.
Veggies and Dip
Keep some cut up veggies in the fridge. Small pieces of carrot, peeled cucumber, celery as well as small sections of broccoli and cauliflower all make great finger food for toddlers. Make sure the pieces are very small to prevent choking or steam them to soften them up. Serve with a little ranch dressing if desired.
Quick Cheese Quesadilla
Place a soft tortilla on a microwave safe plate. Top one half with cheese and fold the other half over it. Microwave 30-60 seconds or until the cheese is melted. Cut into wedges and let it cool a little before serving.

Cherrios was always a big hit with my kids. I also kept cans of mixed veggies in my house. Veggie All makes a "NO SALT ADDED" can. They make an excellent, fast, healthy snack, that's just right for little fingers. I would also suggest looking at ToysRus too. They have this neat little contraption that allows you to give baby things they normaly couldn't have, because of the choking hazard. I pasted the link to this neat little thing in the source box.
Hope this helps!

The core of a pineapple will keep her busy for an entire meal. My kids loved sucking on it, and it felt good on their gums when teething, and they can suck quite a bit of nutrients out of it. You can give small bits of most fruits and vegetables, bits of pasta, rice, Small bits of ground meat are OK too. You should stay away from nuts, raisins and large pieces of anything that could be bitten off and choked on. Hot dogs should always be halved lengthwise.
This is such a fun time for kids to explore food. It's nice to see that you are providing a good food experience for your daughter. She will probably grow up to like a variety of foods.

Melba Toast, Cheerios (dry, of course--maybe smaller if possible), maybe some "gerber graduates" type of finger foods, small piece of apple or orange. Try different things, and keep it simple, and for her, fun.

yes,, baby toast is good, cut banana slices into coins, then quarter the coins.. (no choking here).. its slippery, but for some reason, they love this...
just for the fun of smashing their fingers in it..
also luke warm spagetti strings.. they love this too.. I think there is more play than eating, but oh well...

My son loves the gerber puffs cereal. It comes in all different kinds of flavors and melts in the babies mouth. They have it at wal mart. He also likes gerber biter biscuits bc they are kind of sweet. I also take most of the food i serve at dinner and if i think he can mash it up in his mouth i chop him up some little peices. Sometimes its veggies, sometimes its pasta. It all depends of how well your baby chews so she doesnt choke.
