Usual ovulation is about 11 days after the first day of your period, or at least that is the day to start trying. Have your fiance switch to boxers if he wears briefs, that keeps his "little men" from dieing off from being too hot. Try to have sex before you go to sleep, that way you don't have to stand up and you can lay down for a few hours so the sperm have a better chance. Instead of having sex multiple times a day or all through the month, save the sperm for ovulation days that way there will be more of them. If you have sex multiple times a day, the amounts of sperm will be smaller. Trust me, I tried for 3 (almost 4) years. You can also try the ovulation tests, but those never worked well for me. If all else fails, just go get checked out by a doctor, both of you.

My Husband and I are also trying for our first baby, and the best advice we got, which our doctor approved of, was to
(1)Relax...stress helps nothing...turn on some romantic/in the mood music....go out to your favorite place to eat....enjoy it, and each other....
(2)go to the bathroom before sex, that way you don't get rid of his sperm that could have possibly made it...
(3)prop a pillow under your lower back, and lie still for about 10-20 minutes....this can also give you two a chance to cuddle...;)
(4)if you are really set on trying, try every other day, so his sperm count has time to rebuild in count, and won't be so low...and if it's not to taboo for the two of you, try diffrent places in your house, and new things....
Good luck....and I hope this helped...

The first week or say, 10 days after cycle is called safe period, u have less chances of pregnancy in this period.
U have to have sex in the middle of cycle, around 14th day, countind start of bleeding as day 1.
If u don't concieve afrer trying this for few months, then u both should go to medical tests
1. Semen examination of male, If it is ok, then
2.Hystero salpingo gram of female, to know the patency of fallopian tubes, If this is also ok, then
Forget about pregnancy go on enjoing sex, IT WILL COME ITSELF !!

The peak time is two weeks after your cycle begins. Also, you could try getting one of those peak ovulation test kits offered over the counter at drug stores. If that doesn't work. Go to a doctor. Its possible that your fiancee has a low sperm count or there is something else going on.

I think you may need to be more specific with your sex. You might want to go to your doctor and find out exactly when it is your supposed to be ovulating, invest in a thermometer and then get busy everytime your temp drops/rises (whatever)
Good luck.
