...an old neighbour??!

He is nearly 60 years old but I am very greatful to him cos he helped my family several times when we moved to our new neighbourhood! He gave me many presents and I really have to thank him with something reaaaally good!

Any serious ideas?

Oh yeah, I forgot, he stays at home, has lost his wife, does not have children, likes music (plays the quitar, the bouzouki, the sitar), and knows how to speak 6 languages! If this helps a bit!

Well it helps to know what they're interested in. Restaurant gift certificates are always nice as are gas cards nowadays... Does he like wine? Does he golf? Most public courses offer gift cards but if he sticks to just one course, you could get a gift card for some place like Dick's.

HUm u should give him something he likes and if he like to read get him a book that he really likes or give him a box of candy with a thankyou care or give him a sweater or a jacket.

It depends on your price range and what he would like. A watch, An IOU booklet for free lawn cutting/household duties, a tv.......Is there anything he likes or collects?

what about a dvd player that plays mp3's, and buy him some cd's w/ his favs. Or a gift card to pizza hut or something.
