Just feel around your monitor, there should be buttons/wheels somewhere, possibly under an edge or round the back to do this direct on the monitor. Don't know what your monitor is, so I can't tell you precisely, but I'll bet there are controls on it somewhere.
Hope that helps.

Turn the monitor off by using the orange button. Now re-hit the orange button to turn it back on again. You may see 88888 flashing and that's because you do not have a temperature selected yet. Use the arrow button for going up and the other arrow button for going down in temp. when you have selected the preferred temp, which I might suggest would be around sixty nine or so. Then when the number is at the temp then you hit the button that says "set" and whalahhhhh you should have what you need. Be really careful how many buttons you mess with because I'm not familiar with what you are talking about. I'm assuming you have a heater but mine may be very outdated by now. I hope you get this figured out tonight or it may get a bit cold. Just for your information, monitors tend to be costly in maintenance. I love our heater though, very efficient!
