You have one very good point. We put him in or let him in by either voting or not voting, & not paying attention & doing our homework.
I don't hate him. The man is a menace to the people & the Constitution. He has broken the law, several times. Many of his executive orders violate not only the Constitution, but laws passed by Congress also. We aren't pushing for impeachment because he's incompetent, but because his Admin is corrupt.
In case you think this is a Democratic rant, I will add that I believe it would have been no different with John Kerry. Both have the same "power behind the throne".

I agree to an extent, and what I really wish would happen is people actually research and find out what's really going on. Bush did not ignore warnings of a terrorist attack, the fault lies on competition between the CIA and the FBI and a lack of sharing information. Second, anyone who knows anything about the Bush administration would not be blaming Bush. He's not the one that runs the show. It was Cheney and Rumsfeld. Now all that being said, I personally don't like him and many of his policies but have earned my right to speak about it by actually taking an active role in our government. I have written many letters and made many phone calls to senators, representatives and the president on various issues throughout the years.

We did vote. And there was change.
I do understand where you are coming from, but we should not give the President a "break" just because his job is hard. If he can't continue working under the pressure (same with any President) then he shouldn't have the job in the first place.
It's our right to criticize him, to judge him for what he does, and even to make fun of him. There are many on here who DO support the President, even a few who blindly do so (which is a dangerous thing to do), so any anti-Bush rhetoric you'll hear at this site is usually countered by anti-liberal remarks, and insults of former Democratic Presidents.
I'd like to see it all go from this site, however. if the anti-Bush stuff goes, then the pro-Bush stuff needs to, as well. I'd like to see more political -based questions on here, dealing with real issues, not heated insulting rhetorical questions about what "he/she would do in this/that circumstance."

no one should give him a break. it is the presidents responsibility to lead the country to the greater benefit of the country. if the people are dissatisfied, it is their role to make as much noise as possible to express our satisfaction, or complete lack of, for that matter, and in turn our government is supposed to acknowledge the people and do something about it, for the better. like maybe acknowledge the people, first off. that would be a good start. the president has a hard job, and that's life. also, i think you should know, the president isn't hearing any of the ranting and raving on this site or most any other chat room or the like, so none of it is personally hitting him where it counts. he is hearing complaints from the people up top and closer to him in administrative position, and these are the people who count. they are also leaders of our country, and bush has to play nice if he wants anyone to like him. at the moment, however, that doesn't seem to be the case. if he continues to ignore the very people he should be striving to work with positively to make a positive difference for out country, he deserves every bit of crap he's getting.

You are right. Being President is an extremely difficult job. But no, Bush does not rate a break. He went to the Supreme Court to make sure that my vote would not be counted so that a man that was fit to do this difficult job could do it. He ignored warnings of a coming terrorist attack. He lied, delliberately, to get this country into a war. He has lost that war. He has surrendered to Osama bin Laden by removing our bases from Saudi Arabia, creating political chaos in the mideast, bankrupting our country, and refusing to go after bin Laden. He and his cronies have nearly destroyed our great country and you want to give him a break? For shame.

Do you really believe he deserves one after stealing his first election then involving us in a war we should never have been in, not to mention all the people that have died as a result of his ignorance. I am a Viet Nam combat veteran and I see too many parallels between this war and the only war this country has lost. Most people don't know or foget that George Sr. was head of the C.I.A. durring the Viey Nam conflict orderring me and fellow combatants to do all of the thing's our government still denies. When I think of this war I cant help but to remember the brothers that died needlessly right next to me. George W. Bush is the most ignorant man in polotics and he has no right to lead the free world.

We did take an active role in what's going on, we did vote, and we put the Democrats in power in Congress.
It's not supposed to be an easy job. Forty-two other presidents have managed to serve their terms without complaining about what a hard job it is.

I agree with MOST of what you have to say. It is very easy to sit back and criticize his policies online. It takes alot more effort to go out and vote, become involved in your political party of choice, etc.
However, doing all of these things won't change what has already happened. Personally, I get pretty damn angry when I think about all the men and women who have died since we began this war in Iraq, including my own cousin. I get angry because there was no valid cause for us to get involved in this war to begin with. I get angry, and sometimes I vent. Sometimes I vent to lots of strangers on Yahoo Answers who could really care less what I think. I'm assuming that alot of other people feel the same way.

Well yes u're right he should take a break himself and let people live peacefully. I guess you American people don't know a lot about what is really going on, because they only show you half the truth and the other half is lies mixed with a little bit of truth. I hope you watch a movie called "the break down" it's kind of new if you do u'll understand y people can't give him a break
