Can you disable your internet sound so you can enjoy listening to music playing on your WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER?

I want to know if its possible to listen to music on your WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and keep any website music from interferring with it.

Tools>internet options>advanced tab scroll down to multimedia uncheck play sounds. well its in IE 7 dunno about the rest. :(

In other webbrowers also go for internet options
