Yes. Infact it has already made possible by a few aspiring inventors, unfortunately, like in the case in my country... that guy able to design an engine that can run with water...has been paid by all the oil companies there to forfeit from his own project, and confiscated all documents and papers- rumored to have been burnt including the prototype. There was another guy who invented in the Philippines, I saw in the news, that he was able to design a "catalyst/ converter" that you will have to attach in the engine (which means, you'll have to have it modified through an autoshop), with it you can use water instead of gasoline or deisel. I just dont know how well he has developed it but suddenly, that news fell silent and to some people who are antiscipating, we just heard the news that the guy moved to America.
Whatever it is, I believe that we as consumers will be forever trapped with this type of fuel. Or else these oil companies will fear from losing large amount of sales.
That is why countries hinder other countries from nuclear power. Any country who would want a nuclear weapon would make it secretly and conceal it well despite the advancement of satellite and intelligence. They dont want countries to be powered with nuclear because they want to monopolize and enslave people with federal debts.
But i still hope that the rumors are untrue. but go do your own research...
Turning to water, will eventually help us to be more concious with the nature, and we dont have to send men into those dangerous oil rigs where some oil rig workers are hostaged by some countries.
But oil companies should not be this greedy, it is pretty hard to turn our back completely from fossil fuel anyway... trains, ships, generators in desert countries...

Nope. You can't use water directly as a fuel. But the answer is fuel cell technology. A fuel cell converts the chemicals hydrogen and oxygen into water, and in the process it produces electricity. In this way u can use the energy.

In principle it is possible. Sun energy is used to dissociate the water molecules in to hydrogen and oxygen. When these two gases are allowed to join back as liquid water the quantum of enegy used during the previous operation is released and that can be used to generate power. This simple experiment has been carried out in Taiwan and a project is in full swing now to harness this energy in mega industries.

there are some researches going on in this direction, but unofficial sources say that the petroleum companies across the world are stoping this. Still, soon we would be able to access such an engine.

We can't use it for our engines because we designed as like that, but we designed for burn the oxygen in the water then we can do it.

Actually we should be.
Our brainy guys should work out some solution to use H2O for cumbustion. H2 burns and O2 helps in burning.

You'll probably bugger up your engine. As for now, just quench your thirst withit and to wash your #@$. Dont use paper. That's depleting too.
