Is it possible for me to find an English teaching job in New Zealand? What other jobs would you recommend?

yes it is very possible for you to have a job not only in new zealand! i heard that filipinos are very good in english teaching so i think you will find a job in any country...i think you can also try in medical description or in a call center you will have experience first in this field and at the same time you will be very good in any job i think...good day! and God bless!

Unfortunately, you may run into some problems. In New Zealand, of course, English is the native language, so you undoubtably be competing with locals for jobs. Of course, they will have first pick.

Also, many schools that hire English teachers are more concerned with the color of a teacher's skin then their abilities. In other words, white people will always get the jobs before those with darker skin. While I don't agree with this, it is a hard truth, so be prepared.

I would look at all of the education options (different schools) in New Zealand, then, at the same time, I would search out the jobs in the embassies (both the New Zealand ones and those with the Philippines based in Aukland). You undoubtedly have a good base in various languages and there are probably private companies that can use your skills, both those in the Philippines and/or New Zealand. Import/Export companies, communications companies, sales, education. Seems unlimited to me.

Dear, native English speakers do not really speak English. You may as well apply to teach English-language teachers.

I recommend working as a tour guide. it will be very easy for you to guide tourists from ur countrey & its neibours.
because working as an english teacher may be diffecult because you may have a philippine's acsent to english

i would check at www.tefl.com they should have plenty of options for you to check. i'm sure there is something in new zealand. i have seen them for australia which suprised me. hope you find something.
