There are a large number of different types of "seagull" and most are protected under the Wildlife and countryside Act 1981.

Tape bread crumbs onto the inside of a window. Stupid birds will knock themselves out pecking at them. Apart from some cracked skulls, the majority should be only slightly concussed. Giving you enough time to bag 'em.

buy some chips or bread, a fishing line some hooks and some small weights
attach a hook and the weight to the fishing line, bait it with a chip or bread swing it around slowly above your head. eventually the bird will catch your bait and hey presto got yourelf a pet shitehawk
