Do you live the norm or free of any attachments? What I mean by living the norm is 'grow up, study, work, date, marry, buy a car, a house, grow the children, retire and die'. Is it a must? Do females yearn this more than males? What will happen if I try to stay out of this norm? Can anyone be happy without living the norm as accepted by the majority?

Im a female in my early 20's and living the norm scares me more than anything! I really dont think that it is a must. I think that if you can fulfil your own ambitions and be happy in the life that you lead...there is no norm! I think people who live the norm envy those who dont. It takes more courage to live your life the way you want than to travel the road always taken!
