TURKEY HAS A LOT TO OFFER THE EU, I WOULD WELCOME TURKEY INTO THE EU,TURKEY ALONE COULD FEED THE EU.I MIGHT BE BIASED AS I LOVE TO VISIT TURKEY ANYWAY, THE FEELING IN THE UK GOVT IS I BELIEVE THAT T6URKEY SHOULD BECOME A FULL MEMBER

Not sure yet, Turkey's a bit of a strange one and it probably doesn't fit with the rest of our identity. It's great that the EU is expanding but it really belongs to Asia.

No, i don't want them in the EU. Not now.
They have to develop therself. They must be a western country first.
It will be to expensive for the EU. Germany, France and the UK have to pay for them then.

Personally i don't care. It's just a token thing and doesn't mean anything for you average joe (not to my knowledge anyway). Countries still have their own patriotism so i would say most people don't feel any allegiance or anything with Europe.

Not particularly. 90% of Turkey is in Asia - besides, Germany already has it's share of Turks.

yeah I think turkey should join the EU - it will show the world, that the Eu aint just some big christina white club.

Also it will mean turkey will improve its human rights laws etc etc... and i think the countries surrounding turkey will slowly change towards democracy also.

Its regime change - EUROPEAN STYLE - who needs tanks and bombs

Thre are enough that joined already that brought with them their huge and out of proportion deficits.
