Why not one of those massaging pads that would fit the entire inside his favorite chair and make him feel all nice and relaxed after a hard day? You can buy it for under $30.00 at any major drug store or even at Wal-mart or K-mart. If you have more money a new recliner with the heat and massage functions already included would be better from a local furniture store.

Is there a hobby he's interested in - golf? bowling? Something for that or a box of candy from See's or a book/gift certificate to Barnes & Nobles. Just depends on what your dad is interested in.
