I think history will redeem Bush just like they did Truman being a politician is much easier than being a leader. When you are a leader it is a lot harder because you tend to do things that are not popular at the time. As for the liberals that Bush lied theme is so lame the congress all read the same info that Bush got from the intelligence service they voted for the war. It has almost become like a religious chant I guess if you keep repeating the chant you will start believing it, as for xxjkelarxx I am willing to give a small donation to help a loser like you a speedy exit out of this country.

No, I don't hate Bush. I DO HATE these terrorists who are intent on killing AS MANY OF US AS THEY CAN, they hate everything we stand for and want every man, woman and CHILD dead. I DO hate that there are so many who just do NOT GET THAT! I DO hate that there are so many people in this country who seem to forget that we have NOT had another terrorist attack since 9/11. I DO hate that there is a far left group who hates America and all that it stands for and who continuously whine about the "rights" of terrorists. I DO HATE that our military has it's hands tied and can NOT do what they need to to get the job done, which they could have had done a LONG time ago, but thanks to all this political correctness today, they CAN NOT. I DO HATE that people blame Bush for the young soldiers who have lost their lives, but this is a VOLUNTEER army, thank God for that and thank God for them. I sometimes get the feeling that there are those who actually enjoy seeing the casualty numbers go up as it seems to give them more ammo to prove their point about just how bad Bush is. Pretty sick and yes, I DO HATE that too. And I DO HATE people who continually say how STUPID our president is. If you feel that way, then RUN FOR OFFICE. Judging by the brilliance of some of the comments, it ought to be interesting. .

It is hard to hate someone you really don't know personally. But as for Bush, I did not think we should have gone into Irag either now or when his Father had us in Desert Storm. I think the U.N. should still be handling Iraq. I did not believe there were weapons of mass destruction.( I really didn't) This was a culture ran by Dictatorship. Never mind that many innocent Iraqians were killed on Saddam's orders because he felt the need to make an example to their fellow country people. His son was allowed to rape any woman he desired. They had a culture they embraced. Bush called his bluff. As many American Soldiers are losing their lives as are many Iraqians,if not more, in suicide bombs meant to be scare tactics on the citizens of Iraq. This hasn't a simple solution and I agree we should get out of Iraq, but there needs to be a plan and a goal set for it. Maybe the next President can accomplish this.

Why don't you get some real answers from people really involved. Bush believed the same things Clinton and Kerry believed to Quote-
John Kerry- There is cause enough for the world community to hold him accountable by use of force, if necessary. The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new.
Do you see the Democrats pulling out now? They are planning to stay. So now do you hate them too?
As for xxjakelar- Whats with the redneck cracks anyway? Do your research fool. First being rural does not make you stupid, not to mention have you looked around closely at the cesspools you people call cities? Seems to me you could learn from some rednecks

I don't hate Bush, i don't necessarily agree with him either though.
While it's true Bush has not been the best president America has ever had, he has been looking out for America's best interests.
As a president of the worlds only hegemonic country and with pressure to retain that, Bush and the Republican party had alot to deal with and were forced to take action,
and they didn't really lie... they just extorted the truth to get approval from the public, right or wrong america has the oil and india and china don't thats all that it comes down to in the end

I do not agree with Bush's policies but I do not hate him. They are not impeaching him probably because he has not broken any US laws. It is not a good idea to hate people, because that is what starts war in the first place, but it is okay to disagree with their opinions.

Going back in history, I found similarities between President Bush's policies and those of Hitler. Hitler was a firm believer of pre-emptive wars and invasions to counter perceived threats to Germany. By manipulating information and incidents, Hitler managed to justify the occupation of most of Europe to his people. Other countries who supported his cause did not face his wrath (Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary). It is as if Hitler said: "either you're with us or against us).
In this regard, the German nation widely supported him. Yes, 8 out of every 10 Germans believed that his actions were for the best interest of Germany. Hitler turned his country into a police state, curtailed many of his people's rights and supported the use of torture.
The only difference I found is that Hitler is far smarter than Bush. Hitler had excellent oratorical skills that left his audience very much convinced and mesmerized (just watch the historical footage of his speeches and the people's approval with shouts of "Sieg Heil!").
Furthermore, he always won on debates with those who disagree with his point of view and put them to the defensive. Hitler's approval rating in Germany will always be every western politician's envy.
Indeed up to the very end, he still managed to convince his people with false hopes in believing that Germany is still winning the war.
Only after Germany's defeat had people started to detest and blame Hitler for leading them to war, while nobody dared to question the war's morality when Hitler was leading them from one victory to another. True, war is moral if you're winning and immoral if you're
losing.
History repeats itself?.

You cant impeach every president even when they have disastrous policies. This is becoming a disturbing trend, its like every president is going to be impeached from now on. Next I suppose youre going to say he should be indicted for murder.
