had an experience a while ago and was wondering if it was normal. i smoked and the effects were very powerful. i was very disoriented and i was very spacey. i also was blacking out and the only way i snapped out of those black outs was when my friend talked to me. it felt like i was lteraly in a dream. i also was very into my head and my thoughts none of which made sense. we wee only a couple blocks away from my house, and if it werent for my friend i would not have been able to fing my way back. eventualy we got in my house and it looked like my house but it also looked very different. i was also having auditory hallucinations. i heard the hum of the refrigerator and i was deep in my thoughts and it began to turn a more melodic sound. but then i kind of shook my head and i realized what it was. i am also on zoloft and was wondering if any of these effects were normal. it seemed like a normal high but it seemed to be much more intesified by the zoloft. this was my first time smoking

Those are actually totally normal effects. But I imagine that the zoloft quite possibly accentuated a lot it. I was on zoloft for a few months and it was pretty crazy! Let me tell you! It's not really a good idea to be using an antidepressant and any sort of hallucinogen at the same time...even if it is a mild/pseudo-one like cannabis. The effects can be pretty unpredictable, and if you're battling depression or anxiety, the last thing you need is the added stress of having to worry about getting caught by your parents, the policia, etc...

I think it's what is called "skunk weed". It could also have been "chronic", which is a laced type marijuana more common now-a-days. Check out the site below and learn more about the different types of "weed" out there and make your own decision on whether to continue use or not. My honest opinion, if you're going to smoke, let that be the ONLY body/mind altering drug at ONE time. Why question affects of things if you have too much going on at one time? How can you find a definite answer for anything? Too many dr.s are prescribing stuff to people and then people have accidents while adding drugs/alcohol to the mix and blaming the drug companies. HELLO, wake up and smell the skunk! Always someone else's fault other than the person who is "shaking the mixture", if you know what I'm saying.

To each their own.....................

No. I did, but quit years ago. Disgusting habit, can't believe I ever touched those things. The smell of cigarettes (or even of someone that smokes) makes me gag. Here in S.C., you can smoke just about everywhere. Nothing like leaving a $75 meal smelling like an ash tray.

I don't think the Zoloft would have anything to do with it because it acts on a completely sepatate part of the brain. The effects of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, are as follows: "relaxation; euphoria; altered space-time perception; alteration of visual, auditory, and olfactory senses; disorientation; fatigue; and appetite stimulation." Sound's like you got high to me.

LoL...that sounds normal to me for the first few times I've smoked it....I still smoke it now, but it'll never be as fun and spacey as the first time since I've grown more tolerant to the effects.
