between Superstition and Old Wives Tales? They both sound alike to me and I don't believe in either of them.

Old wives tales tend to be remedys. Or future telling. Such as "if a mother dreams of sheep, her baby will be hurt in a fall." Or "if you eat 3 carrots every day your hair will turn red."

A superstition is something that has to do with luck and/or supernatural events. "If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck." Knock on wood, and the like.
