I want to give my family nice presents for Christmas, but I am so broke. I am a full time student and recently had a major financial crisis. My family (mother, sister, and brother) are getting together for the first time in years and I want them to know that I care. I've only got about $100, but I am on break from school so I have lots of time. I really not very artistic. Has anyone got any ideas?

For my father I get him whool socks($10) because he is tiny and is always cold. My mother I got her a $25 gift certificate for sees candy. I got my father a lap blanket($10) for when he sits in his chair. I bought my mom some cute costume jewelry($12)
which you could buy for anyone. For my friends I make this great recipe of peanut butter fudge, you can email me to get it. I bought pretty slippers($8) for a friend. Then my other friends I got each of them an ornament from Walmart, they only cost
$!-3. I bought a nice photo album for my friend who has kids, that cost about $10.

Well you have $100. If you spent it all you should distribute $50 on your mother and $25 on each sibling. It often isn;t the gift it's the thoughtfullness behind it. I would suggest the regular gifts-chocolates, sweaters, perfume, items you know they like and willl use. Go to the dollar store to buy paper and tape and of course cards. Inside each card write a letter telling that particular loved one how much they mean to you maybe recalling a special moment. A great idea is to get a picture of everyone together so later when you have some free money you can get copies and make sure everyone has a great photo to remember that day.

Buy your Mom and Sister some aroma therapy candles. An Angel figurine. Scented bath accessories. Their favorite perfumes. A charm they can hang from a necklace or bracelet. Your Brother maybe a pillow massager , your Mom and Sister might like this to. Buy him His favorite group on a c.d. or his favorite movie. Is he into sports or video games? Books make great gifts to. Look at what they like and buy it at the best deal. It doesn't have to be over the top as long as they know you love them and it comes from the heart.

Hey, don't feel bad, you have more money than I do lol. Everyone loves movies-why don't you get movies for your family, or CDs, clothes, chocolate, or gift baskets.

Christmas should not really be about money-it should be about spending time with your loved ones. I am sure they know you love them and care about them already.
