I think Tegan is a pretty name. My brother's daughter is three now and she is called Tegan Lily.

I think it's a perfectly nice name - I certainly don't see why we should stick to "old names" as some are suggesting (would they call their child Winifred or Cecil?)
On the other hand, I'm always wary of any name where you have to point out how it's pronounced...

I think it's a beautiful name. I have not heard the name before, but really I think it does not matter what other people think of a name. As long as the parent names their child with love, and the owner appreciates it, then the name is the best it can be.

I don't like it. I work with a guy named Tigran and the name Tegan, sounds too much like his name. Tegan sounds to boyish.
