Whyn is it that asians are generally accepted by the population in california,but not midwest?

There's generally more there then in the midwest.

in california there is more of a diversity of cultures. unlike hispanics, asians have a more impact on the economy due to their successions in their jobs. the more south and east you get on the u.s. the more less diverse it gets. plus, they're are more "old" generations that still believe that nazis and slavery should still exist. plus, some may assume most asians as japanese which will blame then for the pearl harbor attacks and judge them for what "their" country did. california is the best to live since it is the most diverse and most acceptance in diversity.

Midwest= closed mind

Stay in California there is a really good Asia base society there.

well, california is just better all the way around. I don't know though, I know some asians in Michigan who are really happy.

I guess because Cali's always seemed to have had a bit of everyone, both the bay area and the l.a. area are full of every color of people. It doesn't make sense to be racist out here, really.
