It a ploy. To me Style is making your own Fashion, what fits your personality, not becoming a clone. Many not have imagination and fall prey to; "this is what everyone wearing", marketing.

Nope i dont follow fashion. Just wear what i feel comfortable in. And yes I find it to be a fashion statement and marketing ploy. What right do they have to tell us HOW to dress? It all boils down to who has the biggest purse strings. If ya got enough money buy what is Hot. To me hotter dont always mean better. Why should I have to buy the latest fashion just to make someone's else's bank account fuller. To heck with that.!!

you can never win with fashion, cause like technology it changes every week.. In some ways its a clever marketing ploy, but in others its an opportunity to learn that many things can be mixed and match and you may already have them in your closet. I guess what fashion is telling us these days is dont be afraid to experiment, and remember everybody has their own style, you dont have to wear what celebs and tabloid are wearing.

Hey! Good for you! Fashion should be interesting, fun, innovative but never a necessity! I spell it Fa$hion...it is sad the way some people will run around like fools after the "latest" thing or judge others because they do or don't have what-ever-it-is whether it is a designer bag, a baby or a SUV....they never seem to notice that every designer, every magazine, every writer has a different opinion and it all costs money that ends up in their pockets...at least the taxes on all of it support our highways and schools ;-)

It can be both. Most fashion, to me, is art. I appreciate it for it's art form. But the marketing is pretty crazy sometimes too.

I follow fashion because I know the people who wear jogging suits and fanny packs look rediculous.

hi we are not models or television stars to look alike.i never follow fashion blindly,there could be certain things in season which i might buy but considering the fact that it would suit me.

It is not that I follow fashion, it is that fashion is trying, very alloofly I may add, to equal my taste . They kinda manage, occasionaly.

i lately heard something on good Morning u . s . of america that reported that all whitening gums are ineffective. a good type of things have that written on the kit about phenylalnine...do not comprehend what it truly is exactly yet no longer a whitener.

if I like the new styles, I wear them.... but I dont run out and get every single new thing and i dont throw away stuff that was from last season.
