yes some of their music is somewhat depressing but you need to FEEL it

I am a huge Floyd fan but that is the first time I heard their music called sexy. If you like Floyd and that type of guitar playing, you must listen to some Porcupine Tree (Sky Moves Sideways, Stupid Dream, Lighbulb Sun) and King Black Acid (Loves a Long Song).
