hai,

i have 25 sys connected to same domain. i have one pc recently connected. pc has win 2000. if i click on network neighbourhood, i can see only few machines but not all why.

but i can ping the machine which is not visible
also if i do start -> run and give the machine's ip address which is not visible in the network neighbourhood, then i can see the contents of that machine.

what setting i have to make so that when i click on network neighbourhood i see all the machines ?

i have shared c and d drive of all machines.

thanks

is your pc is visible to other machines? if so, check the configuration of this pc's network neighbourhood options.

Make sure that all computers are using the same DNS and that the TLD (.com or .co.in) for the name of your domain is correct (same) for all PCs.

Also make sure that firewalls are NOT hindering. Remove the PC in question to a workgroup, change the PC name and re-add it the domain. Do you use netbeaui? If not, uninstall this protocol from the network configurations of all computers that have it installed, and use only TCP/IP.
