No, the smoking ban is part of the evercreaping fascism that is slowly taking over this country. Soon, as in Europe, you will be told that if you drink, you will not get insurance, and you can't smoke a joint, and then if you are overweight you will be punished, and if you disagree with the President you are on the side of the "Terrorists," etc etc. What has made this country so vital is the range of expression, whether good or bad, that has created so much diversity. Soon we will all be little obedient servants, probably cleaning toilets for the Chinese as we won't be able to pass their job qualification tests!

No i disagree.. Before the smoking ban people were not aware of the negative side effects of smoking. I believe everybody is aware and more conscious now. Not that all take care or worry...
With my daughter diagnosed with bladder cancer at the age 17... I am very much aware of the risk of smoking. And she does not even smoke..

I find this interesting,as i do smoke, although i live in a different state....im sure it will arrive here soon. I find it apalling that any state will regulate where and when i smoke ....a legal product sold nationally,to a wide variety of comsumers,is now illegal ??? maybe i missed that memo....i dont get it.

though i abhor smoking, you should have the right to do it, or not. we dont need a nanny state to tell us what to do with our lives. like new york banning trans fat. where will it end?
