If your a good person why do bad things happen to you so often?

Because life is like a roll of the dice. Only the dice is huge and there are horrible and good things. Some people just unfortunate in what happens to them.

Also there are bad choices we make, we open wrong doors. We make a turn left when we should of turned right. We hit a brick wall when we least expect it.

We pay for the sins of our ancestors. Lets say our great grandparents chose to stay in Europe instead of coming to the states. The chose a diet of potatoes and no protien. Health issues would be passed on. Let's say instead they moved to Minnasota and became farmers. Ate a healthy diet. Started their own business. Sent their kids to college. Each generation could be healthier and make different choices. They inhale bad air from polution and they pass on a poor immune system. They get over stressed and beat their kids, those kids beat their kids and so on. One kids pulls out of the family dysfunction and makes better choices. And so on and so on.

Genetically a person can have perdisposition for diseases, learning disabilities, chemical deficiences of the brain.

There are so m any variables in life that can take a really good person down papinful roads.

Circumstances can also happen that are beyond our control.
Another person can make a poor decision and run a red light and in a second can change another person's life forever.

Bad things don't just happen to good people, they happen to everyone. Some just arn't noticable.

Also.....some of us choose to make a situation negative or positive. Some of us create our own drama.

Life is like a poker game. You never know what sort of hand you will be delt.

And those who say God is testing us.....That is soooooooo wrong! Sooooo wrong!!! God is pure goodness. We as humans have been given freedom of choice. We make stupid choices.

As for your question, when you find the answer let me know because I can't seem to catch a break. but then when something bad happens to me, I always think about what I still have thats good in my life and I appreciate it all that much more. So maybe thats the answer. Bad things sometimes have to happen to make you appreciate the good things you still have.

To make my life a balanced life. You see, everything has its opposite, has its half - women/men, night/day, good/bad, etc. Every single thing in this life, whether they are visible things or abstract things. Imagine, for example, if we only have day or night only. Other things won't be in a good balance.

Also, to have bad things in life, I can then appreciate the good things more. So, although it's really not good to have bad things, I won't worry about bad things that happen in my life.

bad things happen when your at the wrong place at the wrong time like when u get drunk at home and go to the store and get something to eat u get Public Intox if there is an off duty officer in there it happened to me i was talking to some friends i use to work with officer comes over there and pulls a badge out of his shirt and holds us there his family was up there so he had to show out and he had to call another officer to come pick me up and they did not blood alcohol test or breathalyze and it maid me mad when i tried to fight it cause i lost

Because good people on the out side sometimes have a core of hate,pain,upset,etc.they lock down so tight inside themselves often they are in denial of it.But it works like back hole gravity.Pulling more and more into it.
