Not all the time, but at least 60% of the time my vagina is sore, almost bruise like feeling when we are done with intercourse. Sometimes I also have a burning sensation the first time I urinate afterwards. It burns the first time, then any time after that it doesn't. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it a certain type of condition or is this somewhat normal? Please help.

I am not inexperienced. I have been sexually active for about 10 years now. I have 2 children, which I delivered vaginally as well (not that it has anything to do with it). I have actually had this problem for years. Like I said, it's not all the time, just sometimes. The "burning" isn't really burning, just a stinging kind of feeling the first time I urinate after sex. I think the soreness has to do with a combo. of rough sex & lack of lubrication. I just wanted some other opinions or thoughts on it however.

probably it hurts because there wasn't enough lubricant. if you don't produce enough naturally, get some KY.
it sort of "burns" me a little right after sex the first time I pee too. not really burns though. that might just be because your vulva area is chaffed from friction without enough lubricant, then the urine would cause that to sting or burn, probably.
if you try the KY and it still really burns to pee, call your gyn... just in case there's something more serious going on there

First. The burning during urinating is somewhat normal as urinating after sex is recommended to rid the body of "foreign" matter.
Secondly. The soreness may be caused by a number of factors. Like lubrication or being new to sexual intercourse. As you gain more "experience" your body will adjust, if that makes sense.
However, there may very well be an infection present, like a yeast infection, quite common and this will certainly lead to discomfort. Buy a beta dine douche, available over the counter, follow the directions when using. Learn your body and normal "odors". Make sure you and your partner are clean, some women are very susceptible to even the slightest foreign matter, but you don't need to run to the Doctor each time a small infection is present, the beta dine will clear up the matter.
HOWEVER, since you seem to be relatively inexperienced, please talk to your gyn. As you grow older you'll be able to identify normal ranges, until you have some experience, rely on the information from your Doctor.
Peace.

The burning thing used to happen to me when I was pregnant!
I have no idea why you'd be sore after though, unless it's rough(-ish) type sex..

Women loss some of there natural moisture there as they age" apply some Kay-Y jelly before. "but" also could be a number of other calluses, like an std, or a yest infection women get, you need to see your GYNECOLOGIST women`s Doctor, to make sure it`s none of the above or cervical cancer, you need a pap smear test".

You need to use a lot of lubricant. I mean a lot. Don't be selfish with it. I think it is normal if you are not using anything. Also condoms can cause this, especially if you are allergic.

don't let another day go by without seeing your doctor about this situation. It could be bacterical vaginosis or a yeast infection and some women are allergic to sperm like i am.

Visit your OB-GYN. He may do a test to see if you are having an allergic reaction to your husbands seman. That happened to me, as well. He was too acidic for me, believe it or not.
