I work for a Citroen dealership, and if the fob is an old one and has worked with the car before , then it might just be the battery needs replacing. If its a new fob then i'm afraid you'll have to get a dealership to reprogramme it, but they should have done that when you bought it from them. You should have a card with your spare keys and this is how they programme it. If not they have the information on there computer, as long as the car was made after 1994. Hope this helps.

It depends why, if you've just changed the battery it's perhaps something like leaving it in a set position in the ignition whilst pressing on of the buttons. If it's a new key you'll have to pay a Citroen dealer to do it. The info should be in the manual on what to do.

If you haven't got the manual contact you're local dealer they should be able to help.

Even Phish can't spell it correctly - it is "Citroën", with an umlaut over the 'e'.
