Performance of Indian Cricket Team has been very poor throughout 2006 and pathetic in the present tour of South Africa.
Some of the top plyers are woefully out of form as a result of youngster are expected to take heavy pressure on their shoulders, which they have failed and some key players are injured. All these factors contributed to India's poor performance.

India is now presently placed at 4 in Test Rankings and 6 in ODI Rankings as per LG ICC Rankings.
