First check your recycle bin. If the file is there, restore it to the folder you want it in. As to viewing it on the camera again, it depends on the camera. If you only deleted it from the PC, and not the memory card you should still have it. There are still some cameras out there that transfer the files from the camera to the PC and it empties the camera. My digital takes removable SD memory cards and I manually delete the picture files from the card after I am sure they are transferred to my PC hard drive. Once you have photos saved on your hard drive it is extremely wise to do backups onto a CD so if something happens to your computer, you still have your pictures.

Check the camera and see if they are there. When you install onto the PC there is a option to delete the pictures from the camera. If the option was checked the picture were deleted from the camera. You may be able to go to the recycle been and return the picture to the PC if you haven't emptied the recycle been. Otherwise you have lost the pics.

If after downloading it to your PC and you find that the images are no longer on the camera and you want them on the camera, an easy way out is to recopy those images which is now on the PC back to the camera's memory card. You can use a card reader to read the card bypassing the camera which i find much more convenient. An easy way too in organizing all the digital pics that you have and will have, believe me they grow exponentially, is to use a great, useful and handy software called PICASA by google. Its free and you can download it at http://www.geocities.com/lcming/Digitalphotography

As long as the files haven't been over written by other files, you can recover the files from your hard drive or the digital camera Smart Card. There's free software that can do this for you . This website
http://www.pcinspector.de/smart_media_recovery/uk/welcome.htm
has two programs, pc recovery for recovering files on the hard drive and smart recovery to recover files from memory cards.
Good Luck!

if you didn't delete them from your camera then download them again..if you did then there is 'nothing' you can do
p.s. GermanPic that's why nothing is in quotes..probably it won't recover anyway
