I am working on my final report for an Administration of Justice class and I have to right about peoples opinions. thanks in advance?

Darn - I was going to say a bunch of deranged wack jobs in white bed sheets and pointy white witch hats.
Which is actually my first thought... but anyway.
I think of a group of American citizens, probably poorly educated, white, protestant (obviously...), with racist views derived from material dating back decades to centuries. And who are simply to cowardly in general to use their Constitutional right to speak openly and freely about their beliefs.
I don't agree with them, but they have the right to spew their vitriol to their hearts content.

In my mind, I see a bunch of young skinheads in some place like a gymnasium (but it's dark like a bar) where they are all drinking beer from kegs and listening to a crap live metal band. They are all wearing black or dark t shirts with symbols on them or with the names of rock bands on them, and jeans. Boots, usually black lace up boots. Many are wearing suspenders as well. Most have some tattoos. Many have facial hair, sometimes cut into interesting configurations, often absent the moustache. In my mind , many are troubled. In my mind, I think some will end up in jail, some will die very young, some will lose passion for these dark beliefs along with their youthful energy, but most will just be somewhat secretive about their beliefs, and blend into the scenery, going on to live to middle or old age. Some will live happy lives, some will not.
That's all I got.

i would love to get to one of their meetings, rite? and like, set up a ring and fight each person, one at a time. no weapons, just me, teaching them all lessons. i know it's wrong to return evil with evil, but...*sigh* it's always been a fun daydream of mine, just givin' out cupcakes and a$$whoopin's to those folk. and darn the luck, i'm fresh outta cupcakes! ;-)

In historical terms, it means something horrible. The acts of violence they committed was deplorable. In terms of today, they mean almost nothing.

Hatred....anyone who can base all of their beliefs on Hating another race/culture is ignorant to me. It's just a newer form of Hilter's Nazis. I guess not all of us evolve at the same pace.....
